Eyes & Smiles Optometry offers full-service personalized vision care for the whole family in a convenient modern facility. 

We offer a wide range of optometric services for children and adults, and a friendly, compassionate team who will make your every visit a rewarding and stress-free experience. We value your time so we never double-book appointments, thereby giving each patient the time and attention they deserve.

Meet Our Team

Dr. Nazak Mozaffarieh, O.D

Dr. Mozaffarieh, O.D. (aka ’Dr. M’ or ‘Dr. Naz’) was raised in Vienna, Austria, and graduated from Vienna International School in 1993. She then moved to California to study Molecular and Cell Biology at U.C. Berkeley. After receiving her undergraduate degree, she pursued her Optometry degree at U.C. Berkeley, graduating in 2003. After working in different practice settings for several years, she opened her private practice “Eyes & Smiles Optometry” in 2007 in Pinole. In 2011, she purchased the practice of Dr. Gloria Waite in Pinole, merging both practices. She is a mom to fraternal twins (boy and girl) and an elderly chihuahua. In her free time she enjoys skiing in Tahoe and wine tasting in Napa.

Perla

Perla is our office manager/optician and has been at this office since it was established in 2007. She will be helping you pick out your glasses, discuss different lens options, and explain your insurance coverage to you.

Perla was born in Stockton and raised in Napa amongst 3 other siblings, one being her twin. She has an energetic son named Charlie, and 3 dogs in her household.

Aneth

Aneth is our optometric assistant. She was born in Los Angeles and raised in Richmond. Aneth loves spending time with family and friends, catching up on the latest tv shows, and finding delicious recipes to cook with her family.

Mia Murillo

Mia is our optometric assistant. She was born in Vallejo and raised in Hercules. She loves to spend time with her family while discovering new restaurants and exploring new cities​.
